Gate Schedules
| Gates: From May 15 to October 15 Togue Pond will open at 6:00 A.M. and close at 10:00 P.M. The Matagamon will open at 6:00A.M. and close at 9:00 P.M. unless the Director modifies the gatehouse hours. So in short:...... Gates Open at 6:00 am. 5:00 am for the months of July and August and on busy weekends. Weekends are VERY BUSY Saturday 08/17/02 I arrived at the gate at 3:20 am and was sixth in line and by 4:30 it looked like a parade. ROARING BROOK DAY USE PARKING AREA was full by 5:30am Weekdays are better, Wednesday 08/21/02 I arrived at the gate at 3:50 am and was fourth in line. On that day Roaring Brook was full 6:15am. I know it`s early, just get there early, drop the TAILGATE have some breakfast and get youself ready. Have some fun with it! |
